The Wood Crake is my largest guitar. Like all the guitars I build, my aim in this model is a well balanced sound with a strong crisp base. This model loves low tunings. If you drop this guitar to an open G tuning you might easily summon up the Balrog, be sure there are no abandoned mines near by if you decide to tune that low.
“The best I can describe it is that this guitar sounds like maple syrup. The sound pours out and fills spaces I didn't know were spaces.”
Andrew Berg (Owner of a Wood Crake)

This is the smallest guitar I make. It will not let you down. It packs a lot of sound into a small space. With a deep base and sparkling trebles the Carolina Wren will surprise you with its volume, much like its namesake. Designed to be an intimate couch companion, it might become your go to guitar for travel.
